I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. I had a long weekend of moving, but I’m happy to say we are unpacked and pretty much organized thanks to my lovely mother and future mother-in-law. If I could give advice to others in the moving process I would say to make sure you surround yourself with people who are organized, creative and don’t like clutter. I was basically forced to unpack all of my boxes as soon as we moved in and now that the week has started, I couldn’t be any happier!
My favorite part of the new place you might ask? THE PATIOOO!!!
My friend from California had a great idea of using old curtains to make a little cabana on her deck. It was one of my favorite things about her apartment. So, I saw this as a perfect opportunity to make my own little cabana and I absolutely love it. I catch myself sitting outside a lot more often and I even get to see beautiful reminders from God of his existence and beauty. 🙂
On Sunday we had Tyler’s work party at the Brewer Game, which they dominated might I add.
I absolutely love baseball games. The tailgating atmosphere is so incredibly fun and entertaining. I wish I was able to attend more Brewer games. We also had the best food. Kudos to the wonderful staff and cooks at Miller Park.
I received so much from my Father in Heaven this weekend and not until Sunday afternoon looking up at a rainbow did I realize I hadn’t thanked him yet. I hadn’t given Him the praise He deserved.
We all need reminders. It’s our human nature to think we receive blessings because we work really hard in this life. If I could start your week with one thing it would be this:
Start every morning and end every night thanking God for the happenings of your day.
Live every day for God. Each one of us has a purpose in this world. Each one of us was placed here to touch just one person and show them the love of our Father. God above has a plan for all of us, but we need to thank and praise Him for the blessings He gives us in this life.
Lord, I pray that you can fill my heart with the desires you have for me. I pray that you bless me today to spread your love and joy to those around me.
Questions for the day:
- How did you spend your weekend?
- What blessings has God given you this past weekend?
