Good Morning! Happy Monday everyone.
I hope you all had as great of a weekend as I did! Friday night my lovely mommasita and aunts came to visit me.
We had a wonderful time exploring downtown Madison and catching up at The Great Dane with a few drinks and a lot of laughter. My mother and I split my new favorite entree: a Fresh Mozzarella and Tomato Panzanella salad and Baked Cod with a side of my absolute favorite almond couscous.
I seriously want to go back and have this dinner again. So good and it left me feeling satisfied, but not stuffed!
Madison is such a beautiful place and I’m so glad I got to spend the night catching up with three amazing women around this view all night.
Saturday I spent most of the day helping coach my hometown varsity basketball team and then went to a coworkers Half Christmas Party.
It was the cutest idea! Everyone was wearing something green or red and she had her entire garage decked out with Christmas decorations, Home Alone playing in the background and of course a Christmas playlist.
It was an absolute blast!
SUMMER SHAPE UP
Today I am so excited for the start to Week 2 Summer Shape Up. I’ve scanned through all of the meal plans for week 2 and my mouth is already watering just thinking about all of them all. The workout looks like a killer too so I’m excited to give it a try and share what I think. 🙂
This morning as I was preparing this post, I was thinking of God’s love and His grace. At church yesterday, the pastor spoke about God’s grace as hope. Since starting Healthy Desires I feel so much hope in what I want to become in life and I’m so blessed that God is the centerfold to that hope. When things truly do feel tough or the road seems long, have hope in God and I promise you He will show you the path you are to take.
When I have hope in God, my dreams get a little bigger and more attainable.
Questions for the day:
- What did you do over the weekend?
- What are your dreams becoming as you gain hope?
